A sales funnel is the journey a customer goes through when they are deciding on or making a purchase.

The 4 stages of the Sales Funnel
At this stage, your potential customer is becoming aware of a problem that your product or solution may solve.
This is when your customer may find your content on social media, a google search, or even a paid ad to a cold audience.
At this stage, the prospect knows about their problem but is actively seeking for the best way to solve their problem as well as achieve their goals.
Similar to the awareness stage, customers will find you by searching for answers ans digesting your content for answers.
This is the time where they will follow you on social or opt-in to your SMS List.
At this stage, the prospect knows that he/she wants to take advantage of your product or service.
If they are actively looking at prices and options you provide, it’s safe to assume you should send them a direct message, call, or sales offer.
At this stage, your prospect becomes a customer by finalizing the deal or converting to a customer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The sales process does not end after the sale!!!
So you’ve finally acquired your customer… GOOD JOB!
Now the real work begins.
While acquiring customers is important, keeping them happy is the key to repeat business.
